Patrick Meinhardt was born in Madrid, Spain, where he graduated from a degree in Journalism. He later moved to London to pursue an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication. In 2017, Patrick moved to Kenya where he has been a contributor for Agence France-Presse. He has also been working with various other media outlets, covering East and Central Africa.
